Job Overview:

Ayyeka is seeking a technical, experienced, and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling high-tech software and hardware solutions to the critical infrastructure sector. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and managing the sales effort within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for North America to achieve revenue targets (KPIs) and market penetration in the region.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    2. Collaborate with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  3. Pipeline Management:
    1. Effectively manage and prioritize the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of potential deals.
    2. Work daily with the company's CRM system.
  4. Sales Presentations:
    1. Conduct compelling sales presentations to stakeholders, showcasing the value proposition of our software and hardware solutions.
  5. Lead Conversion:
    1. Work closely with Ayyeka’s sales executive to bring warm leads to your region.
    2. Lead, mentor and motivate the sales executive, ensuring alignment with your targets.
    3. Monitor daily RFP’s within the region through a dedicated platform to increase your lead conversion for new deals.
  6. Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure:
    1. Lead contract negotiations with clients, address concerns, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  7. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    1. Develop accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
  8. Market Research
    1. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  9. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    1. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with an MBA in a business or sales-related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales-related positions for a minimum of 5 years, preferably focusing on technically sophisticated hardware and software products/solutions.
  3. Experience selling to the public sector (utilities) with long sales cycles.
  4. Willingness to travel once/twice per quarter to North America.
  5. Proactive attitude towards continuous learning, with the ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and technologies.
  6. Result-driven and client-focused mindset.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English. A native English speaker is a big plus.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  9. Experience in IoT/wireless communication/telemetry/critical infrastructure (water) or environmental technologies is a big plus.
